MADE IN HONOLULU

Built for Hawaii care homes, not hospitals.

ColinaHealth is an electronic record built around the way ARCH homes actually run a shift. Orders drive the MAR. The MAR drives the chart. Everything lives on the tablet already sitting on your med cart.

WHO IT'S FOR

Three care settings, one record

I

ARCH care homes

Type I and Type II

Five residents or fifty. One caregiver on shift can run the whole med pass from the tablet without leaving the room.

II

Senior living

Assisted and independent

Track only what each resident actually needs. Independent residents keep a light record; assisted residents get the full MAR and ADL log.

III

Skilled nursing

Licensed nurses on staff

Orders written by the nurse, administered by the caregiver, with the pre-assessment and response evaluation PRN doses require.

WHY COLINAHEALTH

The big systems were built for a hospital floor

An administrator who came to us from Epic said the hardest part was never the medicine. It was finding the screen.

A HOSPITAL EMR

  • Six tabs to answer one question about one resident
  • Training that takes weeks, on a system built for a 400-bed hospital
  • Modules you pay for and never open
  • Support on the mainland, three hours behind you
  • Paper MAR sheets still taped to the cart, because the software is slower

COLINAHEALTH

  • One screen per job. The med pass never leaves the chart.
  • A new caregiver charts their first dose the same day
  • Admission, orders, MAR, vitals, ADLs, notes. Nothing else to buy.
  • Support in Honolulu, on your time zone
  • The tablet is faster than the clipboard, so the clipboard goes away
THE MODULES

Orders at the centre, everything else downstream

Write an order once. It appears on the MAR at the right times, on the chart at the right hour, and in the history the day it stops.

Rx

Orders

Every medication, treatment, diet and consult starts here. Pick a frequency and the administration times fill themselves in.

ICD-10 lookupDiscontinue history

MAR

Scheduled and PRN doses in one signing sheet. Give, refuse or hold, with the initial and the actual time recorded.

Write-once recordsPRN evaluation

Chart

A live 24-hour board across every patient. The red line is now, so overdue doses are on the left of it.

Military time1, 3 or 7 days

Vitals

Weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, SpO₂ and respiration, with anything out of range flagged in red.

Trend viewDate range

Admission

A seven-step intake that fills in what it can: age from date of birth, HI as the state, today as the admission date.

Documents

Photograph the admission packet with the tablet camera. It files itself against the patient with the captured time.

BUILT FOR HAWAII

We read the ARCH rules first, then wrote the software

Type I homes don't have a pharmacy team or a compliance department. The forms still have to be right. So the requirements live inside the screens instead of in a binder on the shelf.

  1. The six rights, in the flowThe dose modal asks for the right patient, medication, dose, route, time and documentation before it will save.
  2. PRN doses done properlyA pre-assessment when you give it, then a response evaluation 30 to 60 minutes later. The reminder comes to you.
  3. POLST and code statusFull code, DNR, or a selective-treatment narrative with the POLST date, shown on the patient header where it matters.
  4. Type I facility headerYour ARCH licence, address, phone and fax print at the top of every MAR sheet, the way a surveyor expects to see it.

COMPLIANCE AND SECURITY

A record you can hand to a surveyor

Every dose carries who gave it, when it was scheduled, when it was actually given, and what happened next. Charted doses can't be quietly rewritten.

Write-once dosing

Once a dose is charted it reads as Charted and cannot be edited. Corrections are new entries.

Actual versus scheduled

Both times are stored, so a late pass is visible instead of hidden.

Signature key

Initials on the sheet map to a full legal name and credential on the caregiver key.

Order history

Discontinued orders keep their start date, stop date and who stopped them.

Shared-tablet sign out

Sessions end with the shift. The login is a code, not a password taped to the cart.

Data stays yours

Export the full record as PDF at any time. My health, my data is not a slogan.

FROM THE FLOOR

What the homes tell us

"I came from Epic and I was dreading this. My caregivers were charting on it the first afternoon. Nobody asked me where anything was."
Aiko Reyes, RN
Case manager, Casa Colina Care
"The clock on the chart screen changed how the evening pass runs. You can see what is late without reading a single word."
Leilani Kamaka
CNA, Casa Colina Care
"Survey week used to mean a weekend of paperwork. Now I print the month and the sheet is already right."
Marisa Delos Reyes
Administrator, Kaimuki

ABOUT US

A software team and a care home, in the same room

ColinaHealth is built by Jairosoft together with the caregivers at Casa Colina Care in Honolulu. Every screen was tested on a real med pass before it shipped, and the ones that slowed people down were rebuilt.

We are not trying to serve every hospital in the country. We are trying to serve the homes on this island properly.
